Public speaking is one of my passions, and I enjoy nothing more than teaching others the skills needed to be a confident and engaging public speaker.
About three quarters of the population have a fear of public speaking, or Glossophobia, and from my experience it is usually the fear of the unknown, fear of being judged, and fear of being vulnerable which drives the fear of public speaking.
Not only do I have over 10 years of public speaking and mentoring experience, but I have performed on stage as a singer for 40 years. I achieved the Toastmasters’ Competent Communicators Certificate in 2006 and chartered the Cannington Communicators Toastmasters Club in 2008 holding the position of President for over a year. I also facilitate training courses and workshops. I have learnt from some of the best and I pass on my experience and knowledge to my clients.
If you want to be confident and deliver impressive presentations to a boardroom of ten people, or give exciting speeches to audiences in the hundreds, or more, then I can teach you how to overcome performance anxiety, build a relationship with your audience, exude confidence and present yourself professionally at speaking engagements.
