I believe in giving people a go, a chance in life they may not have had before. I am passionate about helping others to achieve their dreams and goals. I enjoy life with family, friends, doing the things I love to do and having a balanced life.
My goal in life is to always be happy and healthy. Unfortunately this hasn’t always been the case, so I wanted to do more for others and to give meaning and purpose in my life, and so Endeavour Coaching was born.
I am Gaylene Kelso, I have a Diploma of Management and I am an Accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor. I have over 25 years experience working for private, not-for-profit and government organisations. I have worked in the areas of accounting, website development, project management, management and even as a Funeral Director for a couple of years. I have delivered training for many years within the workplace and have over 10 years experience in public speaking and 40 years experience as a singer and performer, currently singing with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO) Chorus. I have over 15 years experience working closely with the disabled community regarding website accessibility and providing advice to government authorities to create appropriate policies. I have volunteered as a St John first aider, been a building fire warden, a Scout Leader and assisted with the oversight of security at national youth events. More recently I have delivered training in the area of Mental Health and shared my experience and knowledge to reduce the stigma of mental illness. I also currently studying a Degree in Psychology.
Mentoring, coaching, training others in public speaking, giving career advice and helping others to land their next job is rewarding and motivates me to continually improve the services I offer.
